This is our first trip to Mount Magazine SP in Arkansas, but not our last. We traveled through lots of ice and snow to get here. Because the weather on the mountain was very cold (23*F w/o wind chill), we did not hike as much. Still, we went for an unfiltered view of the Super Blood Wolf Moon.
This is my best photo of that taken with my Olympus E-M10 MarkII. If interested: ISO 1600 – 138mm – -0.3ev – f5.5 – 0.8 secs.
Another shot of the prenumbral in the winter mist.
The cabins are well equipped with a fireplace, kitchen, washer/dryer, cable television, hot tub on the deck, and a very comfortable bed. A bundle of firewood is delivered to your door daily.
At an elevation of 2753 feet here are some views from the deck. I call them study of a tree at dusk.
We are planning a trip during the spring to see the mountain in bloom.
