OLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAJulio’s Corn Tortilla Chips

Once you try Julio’s, you will throw out those stale corporate-made tortilla chips. These are the best ever. Made in Del Rio, Texas with 100% stone ground corn by the family of Julio and Lilia Garcia.  Open the bag, stick your nose in and inhale for a mouth-watering aroma of freshly roasted corn and freshly squeezed lime. The flavor is unlike any other tortilla chip with subtle bursts of black pepper, garlic, paprika, and comino. Once you bite into one, you will never be satisfied with any other brand. Plus, try any of the recipes printed on the backside. Muy bien!

Cherry Man Farm to Market Maraschinos

Get ready for a simple, pure delight. Open the jar and you are greeted with a fresh vanilla scent. The first thing that one notices is the color, no bright artOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERAificial res dyes here. The product is non-GMO project  verified, contains no preservatives and uses only natural coloring and flavoring. These Maraschinos are grown in America. Need proof? Just scan the code on the Cherry Man label’s backside to get to the origin. (This jar comes from Grant Farm near Lake Leelanau in Michigan.)  Put it in your Manhattan or top off that sundae with a couple. The fresh cherry taste gives a sweet, clean, happy feel in the mouth. I even pour a little of the juice in my ginger lemonade for that flavor.

Lapsang Souchong 100% Organic Black Tea

I usually begin the morning with a cup of black coffee. Once I get back from the gym, I brew a cup ofOLYMPUS DIGITAL CAMERA lapsang souchong. This wonderfully refreshing black tea comes from Wuyi Mountain, Fujian Province, China. The deep brown/black color sends up a smoky aroma that warms the soul. That aroma comes from the drying of the leaves hung in bamboo baskets over a lazy pinewood smoky fire.

I know, one can find loose tea at just about any supermarket. BUT, the Tea spot offers a wide variety of teas and blends of herbals. The customer service is, well, spot-on. Order on-line for the first time for a 15% discount.

You might try their Keep Fit blend. It is a light tea with citrus over tones. Quite refreshing!
